Accu spark ignition
Ive had problems with my old lunention set up, so fancy a change on the xflow
currently im back on point and condensor,
Has any one got good or bad results with Accuspark ignition (replaces points/condensor)

Steve have used this on my crossflow for the last 2yrs and had no problems with it. use their ignition coil as well. well worth the money imho.

I had the lumention for 12 ish years,
but in my engine fry up, (head gasket fail problem) the lumentin got so hot, that it fried itself
and is no buggered

A mate fitted Acuspark
I second the need for their coil, the one he had ( old Ford original) still caused problems.
New correct coil ( some are 12+v others ballast 9+v) and its a different car

What was wrong with the luminition?From what I understand and was told many yrs ago that it has to much voltage draw to get it to work ie under
cranking so giving a weaker spark and so leading to poorer starting.
