Great day at Mallory today

Had a great day at Mallory today watching the 750mc with a few mates off here, highlight of the day for me was the two RGB races, some very quick cars, being very well driven, good to see the new MK on its first outing, finished both of its races, and as expected a long way off the pace yet, but will be interesting to see how it develops next year.

It was an excellent race! But I'm bias coz I was racing the red Fury #21 following the new MK Genus. Whilst it just pipped me on straights I was there every corner nibbling at Ian Kempson's toes. Almost had the MK several times going into the hairpin but just couldn't get the car to stick what with the rain shower 40mins before race 2. I'm hoping I have some excellent video footage of the whole battle. I'll be posting it my blog spot soon on edsco.blogspot.co.uk

Now that looks very nasty! Happy to hear you both walked away ok and shows how solid the cars are as you RGB guys are very quick.

Good luck with the repairs.

All the best, Rob

Glad no one was hurt. But I would have a picked a different line to make the overtake.

Ooops. Not your fault though, Austen. Is that Tim Hovereds car on the right at the end of the video? Bet he's got some interesting footage.

I've not been very lucky this year! Yeah thats tims, I think he was too late to the scene to catch the air display. My camera didnt work either, such a shame as you would have seen some unusual views of an MNR!
