Ford Front Wheel Hub Wanted

Hi,

Need a new front wheel hub to replace a damaged one on my Tiger Avon.

I believe it’s from a Ford Cortina Mk 3, not too sure if the Ford part number I have is correct but I believe its 74BB1166R01. (difficult to read on the hub)

Any body out there got one or can tell me where I can obtain one, and also confirm if I have read the part number correctly?

One of mine is damaged after one of the bearings broke up. Damaged the part where the bearing sleeve sits. Might be capable of being repaired if anybody knows of a good Engineer in or around Ipswich.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Steve

Rally design and some others do alloy front hubs for the cortina, they are really light compared to the steel ones. Not sure I'd use them on a cortina but a little 7 would be fine, mine were very well made

linky

Yes, kinder hoping to find a direct replacement one form Ford first for a lot less than the £60.00.

As a last resort I will have to buy two ali ones which would then mean forking out about £120.00.

Bit more than I really wanted to pay.

But thanks for your input.
