Hi where can you recomend to get a flywheel lightened in mid/north kent / se london or even north/south devon. I got a c20xe flywheel how light do i go with it? How much is it and is the price the same no matter how much you have taken off?

Lightening a flywheel can be very dangerous unless done correctly. Lightened flywheels have been known to disintegrate and cause serious injuries to the occupants legs.

If you must get it lightened get it done by a company that specialises in Vauxhall tuning.

My advice is to spend a little more money and buy a steel one from a reputable company. they are made lighter to start with.

Is a few £££'s worth saving when your legs are at risk.

The most I would lighten a standard flywheel is by taking the thick weight near the starter ring on the back of the flywheel back flush with the rest
If any more lightning was required I would buy a steel one
Bolts would be changed to ARP and flywheel dowled to the crank

I eat to survive
I drink to forget
I breath to pi55 my ex wife off (and now my ex partner)
