205's on a 6J rim?

Hi guys,

As above, would a 205/60/13 be ok on a 6J rim?

Cheers,
Andy

I run 205 x 13 on all corners, and personly would advise that you dont do so
our cars are very light. and the 205 is a wide tyre, that results in the car sliding about on the road, even in the dry

One of my winter mods, is to downsize to 185x13s

regards

steve

I'm running 205/60/13 Yoko A032s on a set of 6J rims, they fit nicely on the rim.

Surprised at the above posting - I used to run 185/60/13version of the same tyre and I can vouch for the fact that there is a hell of a lot more grip with the wider tyres. In fact, I'm currently looking for wider 13" sticky road-legal tyres - anyone got any ideas?

Depends on your weight
Super Six heavier than a Locost especially the Tigers with the full Sierra rear
My 205 R888's on 6" look a bit squished 185 look ok
Tyre pressures also make a big difference
