Alternative to indicator stalks

Guys,
Remember a post a while back (either here or PH) which had a control box and buttons for the indicators.
Can anyone remeber/recommend anything?

You can also get get1950's style indicator knobs with clockwork timers the switch mounts through the dashboard.

I've got an on/off/on toggle switch just behind the gear lever. Much better than using an old sierra one imo, the only problem is i keep leaving it flashing as it can't self cancel.

Hi,

I used non-latching push buttons on my steering wheel one red and the other green (have done sailing in the past) connected to a Signal Dynamics self cancelling module

http://signaldynamics.com/index.php/products/led-lighting?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=36&category_id=43 />
it worked a treat, the only shortfall was the contacts at the back of the switches were tiny and did break a couple of times. the switches were connected to a curly wire with a connector on it so I could remove the steering wheel.

Regards

Bob

I gave up and realised that column stalks wereby far the most practical for road use being the only way they could self cancel. I then went further and transferred the headlight switching to the stalks too. Up until then the lights were on two switches on the dash which made flashing the lights pointlessly difficult.

I fitted a really annoying buzzer on mine so it didn't need to self cancel

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
