Sierra lsd; will 7" output shafts fit 7.5"?

Does anyone know 'for sure' if it is possible or not, to fit output shafts from a 7" LSD in to a 7.5 LSD?

Reason I ask; I need to convert a 7.5" LSD with 108 mm flanges to 100mm, and have some 100mm LSD ones to hand.

Failing that does anyone have any 7.5"x100mm LSD flanges to sell?

I am right in believeing that the LSD shafts are shorter than the open diff ones?

I don't think 7" ones will fit - but iff you've got them handy why not check yourself...

no LSD's have one short and one long
but open diffs have both the same length

the ones your looking for are from an 24v granada cossie without traction control

like this one: eBay Item
but hopefully cheaper than that

No, the 7" dont fit the 7 1/2".
only the granada cosworth 24v pre 1994 has 100mm shafts in the 7 1/2" and only lsd shafts will fit.
You may be best off changing to 108mm cv's and shafts

Any reason you need a 7.5? If not you could presumably sell on the big-flange 7.5 LSD complete with RWD Cossie tax and pick up a 7" LSD instead.

^^ he's got some fancy 7.5" 5.1 ratio CW&P set if I remember right
but he's also standard sierra hubs (i.e. 100mm CV's)

however if you can't find the granny 100mm subs, it may be easier to swap the hubs and shafts for the 108mm cossie ones that match your current diff flanges...

[PS - I havn't forgoten about those driveshafts ]

Yes I am obliged to use a 7.5" due to the 4.88 cwp I have, it's a Ford Motor Sport one and is like rocking horse poo.
