Newlands Corner 4th August?

Yes it's been a while!
I've sold the Motaleira and gone over to the Dark side.
I've bought a VX220 turbo
Anyone going this Sunday as I fancy a drive through some twisties, a catch up and a bacon roll!?!!!!!

Alternatively Goodwood Breakfast Club (Thoroughbreds) - seems like years (and probably is) since we last met there?
Cheers, Pewe10
PS Laid up the F27 and also gone to the Dark side - now frightening Porkers and Ferraris with a s/c hairdressers

I thought about goodwood but its pre 66 cars.
Nothing against them, but my car will be stuffed away in the car park.
I'd rather keep an eye on it at newlands

Sadly 20,000 non road tax paying pillocks have orderd all the roads to be closed in the southern hemispere

Something to do with ......... actually i have no idea why the roads are to be closed but its the pushbike brigade and lots of them and 4th August is the day chosen.

I am busy but could fit in a coffe or two at Walton bridge (gino's cafe) in the morning.

Fozzie might even turn up in the 220 as well.

Oh No! So newlands is a no go area?
My sodding road tax is £280 per year.
For that, they should carry my car there!

Where is the cafe in Walton Bridge? Do you have a postcode/map?

The bridge only just re opened (new suspension job)

If traveling from the south A24 towards Hersham then Walton-on-thames its a left turn literally just before you drive over the new bridge.

Ginos trailer is in the Cowey sale car park, you could google "cowey sale"

I will attempt to find a map.

Not sure if this helps.

OK the blue flag on the map is the exact position of Gino's catering wagon, if you like your coffee the double shot is the best around.

It is possible to work around it, diversions should be in place.
Sadly Boris has guarunteed this for another 4 years which will please a lot of small shop keepers (NOT!!)

I really do not understand why they cant use one of the many race tracks that wont be used this weekend or one of the many unused airfields the government own.

I'm off out for coffee and bacon
