St170 rwd engine package for sale.

For sale is my St170 engine project as a package.

What's in the package ?

Feb 2002 2.0 St170 engine.
New genuine Ford water pump.
New rocker gasket and grommets.
Cut and welded flat bottom sump to suit a 7 (150mm deep).
New filter and fully synth' oil.
Tiny Denso alternator with custom brackets, idler and belt.
New genuine ford starter motor.
220mm solid flywheel ( st170 is dual Mass)
New 220mm clutch to match a T9.
New crank spigot bearing to match a T9.
Custom dust cover to go between engine and gearbox.
Type 9 bell housing.
Modified 4-2-1 exhaust manifold. (may or or may not work in your car)
Its currently running on the standard ecu and comes complete with all the sensors.

This set up is unique out of a focus as it still uses the vvt and the dual stage inlet as well as the return-less fuel pump.

Where this engine is different from any other engine you will ever buy is that you can take it away running. It is mounted on a frame complete with all the parts to make the engine run.

I started this project to see if it could be done with out spending daft money on the ecu. Now ive sold the locost I have nothing to put it in. I have lost interest and I am moving house so time to sell.

The engine has had a clean but still needs dressing and painting as well as cam belt and plugs to complete the service.

This project has cost me around £750 and hundereds of hours in labour. So the first chance price to any locoster is £750 as I would like to avoid ebay.

If no interest its going on ebay bank holiday weekend for £995 obo

Looking for fresh power plant ? try and buy the parts for less.

Erm most of its in my head. If I get the time I will write it up but I am no teacher.

I do have a spare tested ecu, loom and some sensors to clear out.

Just finished unpacking the car - bought this project from Warren and picked it up today.

I would like to publicly thank Warren for all his help dismantling things and generally helping get all of it stashed away in the back of my VW Golf - and all in the pouring rain - top man.
