If you are happy wrapping rope around the roll bar and being dragged out of a ditch or being generally towed from there and you believe it is up to it then add some tape a few arrows and the words TOW front and back and jobs a good'un.

Adrian

Section 10.1.15 refers to towing points and I followed advice from the scrut and used my tow bar.

Angus just marked "Tow" on his rollover bar on his Clubsport - he did lots of events in England including the British Sprint Championship - never had any problems.

Does your Prosport have the aero fairings fitted to the rollbar? - If so you may need to fit suitably marked towing eyes.

it does but the centre section (roughly 12" wide) clips off in seconds

No personal experience but, have heard problems can arise using the roll bar should you be in a gravel trap. Roll bar towing can cause the car to dig in, where tow eyes (mounted low down) tend to pull the car up and out.

Guess it depends how often you're likely to come across gravel traps doing sprints.

I did buy two of these things
eBay Item with the intention of getting them fastened on the bottom front and rear chassis, still to do this as getting underneath the car now to weld on some plates is hard work.

Are the sprints you're planning held on circuits with gravel traps?

anglesey, - No, lots of grass
olivers mount, - Don't know
aintree, No - 'run off' is the Grand National course..
3 sisters, No
prescott Yes - but they lift cars vertically anyway.

Every venue you'll go to is geared up to deal with a single seater anyway - which is nearly all dealt with by the roll hoop - so you'll be fine doing likewise.
