My cousin is landlady at the Crown & anchor in Welby which has a room or two (no idea if they're already booked though), it's a
stone's throw away from Barkstone heath, might be worth a try?

There's a hotel just off the A1 at grantham near downtown. Can't remember the name but heard it spoke well of! Will be driving past
tomorrow if you want the name. Or there's a travelodge just outside Sleaford at the junction of a17/a15.

Plenty of hotels in Grantham, premier inn b and bs, etc centre of Grantham only fifteen minutes from barkston heath, five minutes from my house.
Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

There you go chap, about 1 .5 miles from the entrance to RAF Barkston Heath.
Either that or if you are up to camping this place is excellent.

I have sprinted at Barkston on and off for years, cheap, fun and safe.
