I think Stot on the Haynes forum at present may be one of the fastest.

The top gear muppets built a Caterham in a couple of hours, although I am extremely glad it never made it on to the road...

Scratch built a Haynes roadster in a year. Basically equated to almost 5hrs a day, nearly every day for a year. I made virtually everything other than stuff I could buy for less than what it would have cost me to make. It was a hard year but the reward at the end was well worth the effort.

Anything With Tits or Wheels Will cost you MONEY!!
