zx9 starting problem
Everything connected held the wires onto switch bloody hot is that normal. Anyway it turns over but nothing I can't hear the fuel pump so have I
missed something.
Think about it, think about it again and then do it.

Clutch and stand interlocks ? Resistor (of which I can't remember the value) on the ignition to cdi feed. It won't run without it, it
would be part of the bike ignition barell but I'm guessing your not using that.

The resistor is 100 ohm iirc.

Have you tried to apply power direct to the pump to see if it works?

That's where I would start, if the pump then works I would test for voltage to the pump when you are turning the engine over.
I don't like the idea that the cables are getting hot when you are cranking the engine though, doesn't sound right to me.
do you still have the starter relay wired in?
