MK 2 Escort wiring diagram

Anyone got one?

Need the details for the rev counter

(I know I could just wire it across the coil but I'm trying to use the existing loom wherever possible )

If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

Austin - Dig it out the bin!!!

Omega - ideally, the rev counter wire colours, any detail will help.

I need to see if the wires are in the existing loom before I start adding more

If the loom is from a base model I doubt it'll be there. It needs to be from a sport or ghia or an RS. Checkout my earlier ( now edited ) post.

Eggy, I've got Haynes Manuals for both Mk1 & Mk2 so if the others don't sort it drop me your email and I'll scan the diagrams for you.

Many thanks to all

All working now.

Unfortunately, operator error also played a part in this

(Anyone need a 'Smiths' rev counter as I also brought a spare from ebay too before realising.....!)
