the other day

The other day in the garden i asked my wife to get me a drink and she said what would you do if i was not here.

I replied i would be in the garage

Think about it, think about it again and then do it.

The wife often ask's if I'd like a drink. When I say "yes please". Her reply is "so would I".

My wife will offer to make me one, and vice versa I will ask if im making one. Or she might ask me to make one if im not. BUT..... the illegal combination is for ME to ask HER to make me one (without an offer) - i dont bother cos I know the kinda answer im gonna get.

My brother in law's parents were at his house a while back (both in their late 70s) when the dad volunteered to make a tea - had to come back to ask his wife of many years if she took sugar. Dont think it was Alzheimers, just lack of practice!
