megablade - what are these wires for?!

Hi,

Bought a megablade without an engine so just putting it back together and have a wire/sensor left over from the car loom which is the long metal sensor on the steering column cover and a wire/sensor left over from the fireblade loom which is the round metal sensor, this seems to have a wire going to the gearbox area connected to it?.

Car starts and drives apart from i think the rectifiers toast, just puzzled as to what these two are?

If anyone has any ideas much appreciated!!

Regards

Mike

The big sender looks like oil pressure sender other I'm not sure ? Some one may correct me ? Check the engine it may still have the sender in the block
