Michelin PS3 Tyres
I am able to supply Michelin Pilot Sport (PS3) Tyres in 195/50/15 size.
The tyres are control tyres, used in a UK race Championship. As such, they have to be changed after every race. The races are between 15-20 laps long
and the cars weigh c. 650-700kg so the wear and damage to the tyres is very minimal. (On those tyres used in a wet race it is not uncommon to still
see the new 'bobbles' on the edges of the tyre)
Tyres are supplied with tread ranging from between 5mm to 8mm (usually more than less) and all sets will be as matched as possible.
Michelin Pilot Sport (PS3) Specification/Spiele:
Michelin's Pilot Sport 3 is a Max Performance Summer tyre fitted as standard on premium high-performance sports cars. Drawing on Michelin’s
expertise from over a dozen consecutive Le Mans 24-Hour Race victories, the Pilot Sport 3 is an eco-friendly sport tyre with Green X branded on its
sidewalls to guarantee it offers one of the best energy efficiency levels available.
The Pilot Sport 3 employs Michelin's Green Power Compound to provide grip on wet surfaces, fuel savings and greater longevity. This compound is
moulded into an asymmetric tread design which enhances dry road response and cornering while Michelin's Anti Surf System combines an optimised
profile and tread grooves designed to cut through puddles and standing water to reduce the risk of aquaplaning and reduce wet braking distances.
The internal structure of the tyre features Michelin's Programmed Distortion tyre architecture that uses digital technology to enhance driving
enjoyment and steering precision. Twin steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped polyamide are combined with a polyester carcass to improve ride
quality and high-speed durability. The Pilot Sport 3 has been developed to balance tread life, fuel efficiency and road gripping performance in both
dry and wet conditions. However, like all summer tires, they are not intended to be driven in near freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

These are photos of the previous model PE2 tyres but the PS3s will be in the same condition.
The tyres do have 'pickup' from the track but this will obviously come off within the first 5-10miles of driving.
The RRP of this tyre ranges from £50-75 and 'well used/puncture repair' sets on Ebay go for around £100!
I can supply a set of 4 tyres for £110 collected or £125 delivered to your door.

Thought I'd mention that I got a set off Dave the other week, spot on - have 7mm tread on them, so well chuffed!
