Timing strobe

Afternoon all,

Looking at this on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AccuSpark-Ignition-Hi-Beam-Timing-Strobe-Light-Lamp-H8000-/170891446385

Is it too cheap to work?

Looks similar to the Gunsons one that I have at home with the inductive style pick up. No reason whey it shouldn't work fine....

I've got that one. Works fine. No bells and whistles. Surprisingly works with coil on plug as well too
