If I thought I could get anything like that price for mine I would be in the garage right now taking mine out and I suspect mine is possibly better spec. Zetec perhaps??

Looks nice but doesn't know the cam spec, doesn't know the compression
High spec Crossflows need steel internals or its just a pretty Crosser

Im with Rusty, as ive got two 1700 under the bench with the same or better spec, with 285 cams and there not worth that money, even together

blokes a chancer, probably the same clown I bought a perfectly good engine off, that was taken out of a car, and a runner
it had
a used head gasket, and head bolts loose
con rod bolts hand tight
flywheel bolts hand tight

I was well turned over, and well pissed off, but thankfully if I buy an engine, despite its history, its taken back to bits, and rebuilt

I agree with all the above. for someone to want so much for an engine and know so little about it, it does make you wonder?

I agree with all of the above
but I wish I could have had mine done and it cost as little as that
but I still wouldn't swap it for a newer engine

I used to build these for my job, if I was selling it I would list everything that was in it and remove head and sump to prove to buyer, how anyone could buy this engine I just don't know!!
