Caterham 6 speed box gear position extended
Hi guys as per the title, has anyone extended the position? I see rally design do a type 9 which is for a 4 or 5 speed but not sure if that will work.
Any help appreciated.

The Caterham 6 speed box uses the same lever as the 5 speed type 9.
No such thing as a Type 9 4 speed, its the type E which normally uses a screw in lever. Very late in the type E's life there was a version used
in the Sierra that used a type 9 lever but it was a mongrel of a box that has very limited compatibility with other Ford boxes. Most had cast in
bellhousings (like the type 2) and internals are different to such an extent that aftermarket gear kits won't fit. Think it was Fords last throw
of the dice before the 5 speed became standard across all models.
