210 BHP Fisher Fury
Im advertising this on behalf of my friend, he has owned it for 7 years. They have used it as a track car all over the UK and several times in Spa, it
is a very capable car with a fantastic spec list. They did a full strip and rebuild 2 years ago with a full respray too.
Engine:
- 2.0 Red Top XE engine with 210hp. It was rebuilt by Atspeed with a great internals.
Coscast head, Omega lightweight pistons 88mm, QED Cams, ARP bolts, Steel conrod, Twin Webber 45’s, full custom manifold and exhaust system.
The car was taken back to Atspeed 4 weeks ago, it had a new head gasket and a tune up and made the 210bhp there.
Drive train:
- Type 9 gearbox with quaife internals with quick shift - Recently overhauled by 'Gearbox man'
- Uprated fast road clutch
- English axle with plated diff – recently overhauled again by 'Gearbox man'
- Spax suspension
Chassis & Interior:
During the rebuild 2 years ago the car had a full professional rewire with a carbon switch panel.
- Foam filled race fuel tank
- Facet redtop pump.
- Fibreglass lightweight bucket seats
- Carbon fibre engine bay surround.
- Full set of new RACETEC gauges mounted on carbon dash
- Quick release race steering wheel.
- Ricco 4 point harnesses X2
- Full custom roll over cage.
- Dash mounted Rev light
The car comes with 2 sets of wheels and one set of toyo 888 tyres. It doesn't have a current MOT as he used it on track only but it does come
with a V5 in his name, and it's on a Q plate.
There is a big service folder and lots of photo's throughout the years. He may consider selling without the engine and gearbox.

Not sure that is a Fury. The bodywork is a modified MkIV Clubman/Early Phoenix and the chassis has outboard suspension which suggests a MkIII (?)
Striker. Certainly it is unlikely to be anything Fisher made.

Well it is probable a Sylva MKIV Clubman or a Striker but not a Fisher Fury. What does the V5 or VIN say?

Doesn't look like a Fury chassis to me either. In addition to the front suspension... The n/s footwell end is different in the engine bay (too
long) and the cockpit outer side/chassis rail slopes upward and looks very narrow (Fury is horizontal), the tunnel is narrow and flat (all I've
seen are waisted and slope down from the front and later ones then slope up from the middle), front sill/side-pod tops are wider so presumably the
engine bay is narrower.

Looks to me like a modified Striker chassis.
In the 5th photo down you can see the original lower wishbone mount and I think I can make out a Sylva Autokits VIN plate

i have driven this car a couple of times over the years and been to a few tracks with the current owner, it is a seriously quick car and handles like
no other kit car i have been in. It is a Pheonix IIRC.
