A huge talent - musical genius and fashion icon.

A sad day.

PS David Bowie hour on Absolute radio now - so many great songs - enjoy.

Sad news - I was really surprised this morning when I heard it after his new releases the other week.

I found myself thinking at the time how it was amazing that Bowie was still going strong after his alleged excesses.

I think the way he has kept quiet was very the right thing to do.

I saw it first thing this morning and didn't actually believe it till I got to work and someone else mentioned it. It just seemed so unexpected but from what I've seen since it looks like he knew he didn't have long left. It explains the new album release with very little publicity before hand.

69 isn't exactly a bad age to make it to but it just seems so out of the blue and he will be missed.
