Oil

Hi all, what oil are you using on your kits. At present I'm useing Maxima extra 4 15w50 but it's a bit of a pain th get. Was wondering what would be a good oil to change to. I have a Fireblade 1000rr

Mobil 1 Racing RT for me, in 10w-40. My ZX12 lump seems happy on it.

Used to run my R1 5vy on Silkolene 4t Racing but currently using Motul 300V 10/40 on recommendation of the engine builder. It's full double ester synthetic so not cheap but according to him you'll find it in most bikes on the WSB and BSB grids irrespective of who they're sponsored by. Worth checking with Andy Bates what he prefers for your motor.

My engine isn't choosy. Putoline semi-synthetic for me. Might even change it this year

Just ordered up some more Putoline sport4 10w40 for my R1 (4xv) riot. Gear changes nice and smooth! Was recommend to me by a biker friend (he owns a bike dyno centre)
