I don't want one but I do wonder if you have done ANY testing to confirm how long this will last before it breaks?

You know that the original focus and plastic handbrake?
while this and steel.
do you think that is more likely to be broken?
if you see the inside of an original focus handbrake and you will see that rather simple and poor materials, but still works the same properly.
This steel bolts.
steel pins.
the skeleton and steel.
I see no valid reason why we should break up.
anyway, and already it mounted.
I can roll with two hands and nothing happens, except that the brake and overdriven.
I saw the quality I do not know what I should test.
In the following photos you can see that what I do not and own risk

It is extremely pretty... I'm guessing it wouldn't pass IVA though.

Perhaps covered with a gaitor that mysteriously falls off after testing?

Most older Fury (and Striker etc) use a Mk2 Escort handbrake which looks like it has very similar fittings to what you have made.

Have you tried fitting your new lever to your Fury yet?

So if I understand correctly, most likely the handbrake I have in my Fury and escort mk2.
So lighthouse a handbrake similar to escort mk2.
For Sierra will not do anything.
At most I can do a new sierra style foot, to use the handbrake frame and all the components that I have already made.

Yes that is correct.

I suspect what you have in the Fury looks like this http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/popup_image.php?pID=11371&image=0

Not necessarally. There's 2 common versions I've seen... Earlier cars have the Escort lever mounted on the passenger side of the tunnel. Later cars use a modified (where the cable attaches) Sierra lever, mounted at an angle in the tunnel with just the handle coming through the top panel. I think there might be a few more rare versions as well that are the result of the various companies who've made them over the years.

I think it looks great but as the only bit you can see of mine is the handle, there's not a lot of point changing.

I've not seen one of them but then I don't generally go around looking at the handbrakes on Fury

My old Striker (mid 90's) was Escort, my new Striker is Escort but modified by the previous owner to go in the tunnel and now modified by me to go out the tunnel as the gearbox won't fit with it there and it seems rather important to me that I have a gearbox :p

Having sat next to yours for 10-15 minutes I honestly can't remember where it was any way!

As some have already asked and bought my handbrake "Sierra" I offer it here again.
Price of 100 € plus postage.
There are two versions for the mounting.and in polished stainless steel, bolts are stainless steel.while blacks pieces are made of POM.
A unfolded and a volded as I hope you can see from the picture

Received my handbrake, thanks Samuele.

Quick delivery and a tracking number too. Sam asked me what exactly I wanted, sent photos of the completed handbrake before he sent me it to make sure everything was to my liking, received it yesterday and fitted it straight away. Looks nice don't you think?...

Would recommend to others.

Regards,
Dean
