We've had a few from alloy racing fabrications that have been good quality.

100E was my first car, and went all over aus towing a dinghy. Though, it ended up with a warmed over 1600 crossflow, Mk2 Escort struts and Elan rear end.

Easiest thing for more fuel is to 'do a Cooper S', put another tank the same as the original, in the other side. The inlets are soldered on, so unsolder, and resolder turned 180 degrees. Crossover tube, and job's done.

Cheers,
Nev.

If you're still looking, I can highly recommend JAF Fabrication. Top quality aluminium fuel tank to my drawings and made to a fantastic standard. Its a shame its hidden away! Also very very reasonably priced too! Miles cheaper than anyone else I could find.

If you want any photos just u2u me your email and I'll send some over
