These guys do a system called Freewheel that gives the functionality but not the mounting plate or buttons.

There is a guy on the Westfield site who makes and sells his own at half the price.

Mike Rowland and his product is the Freewheel among others

I just bought the 8 channel versions which has some neat auto cancel features for the indicators and software to choose between latching and momentary action.

Do you still have to have the stalks as well for it to pass MOT for instance?

Stalks arent an MOT (or IVA) requirement.

I am keeping the standard switches as back up for major functions such as indicator, dipped beam and horn.

These will be wired in parallel

I have been using Mikes BlinkStop and FreeWheel products on my Westfield for a few months now, and they are absolutely brilliant, you couldn't wish for more if wireless wheel and clever indicator/headlight functionality is what you want!
