Dellorto DHLA 40s

Hi,
I've found some old Dellorto DHLA 40 carberettors in my garage.
Just wondered if anyone could tell me anything about them? Would they be better/worse than my current GSXR TB setup on a Zetec?
Are they worth anything?
Thanks,
Liam

They won't flow as well as your gsxr setup. I went from 40's with 36mm chokes to gsxr 750 itbs.
Power went up from 178 to 194 HP. Same air filters, same RR.
40s are still saleable though.

They won't improve what you already have

Some folk actually prefer Dellorto's to Webers as they seem to stay in tune for longer (and don't suffer with the same progression issues)

They look like they need some love and a rebuild, But as said above they are saleable as they are

Worth checking that they are a matching pair

They look like emission versions, probably from Alfa or Fiat. Not as good as earlier ones, we have both Weber and Follow to and agree the later are better.

You should get 150-250 defending if they are just what someone wants. About 300 to have fully restored by a professional but should be as new after.
