quiet exhaust muffler
hi guys,
i'm running a 4age Toyota engine in my locost.
last i did a trackday and was kicked off for being too loud 96,4 DB where 95 was allowed that day,
now i'm looking into an affordable bigger muffler but that's easier said then done.. all stainless and expensive stuff or either not big
enough.
i'm wanting something 14-16 cm diameter and about 70cm long with a 55-57mm inside diameter
any ideas on where i can find one? for a good price that is, i'm looking to spend no more than 150€
i was also considering making a muffler myself, but i cant really seem to find parts for that... anyone got a source for muffler parts?

You can buy universal silencers on ebay.
Not surprised you failed if thats the silencer in your picture?
It's pretty small for a single silencer system!

That is indeed the only silencer. I had a second one on there once but it was chambered i lost quite some top rpm power so i binned it :-)
I'll see ebay tomorrow or sometime this weekend. Thanks :-)

They also do free re-packs for life. Obviously that's easier if you're local, but their service is excellent.

got the profusion muffler in today,
looks ok. welds are not the best quality, but for that price... who can complain ^^
quite the difference in size!
