new scam?

Found this in my spam folder this morning seems they have switched to using car road tax now to get you to click their links, check the date though...

My tax for my van was in August, and there is no link to click on for "More information...."

In fact there are no links whatsoever.

Yes there was a link to click on I edited it out so people would not use it

If that is your car reg, how did they get your email?

Dvla are unlikely to sell on info but have you been recently on insurance compare website or autotrader? For those i put in 2 letter first and second names so can tell origin of mail.

I'd imagine that it's the wrong reg plate, so you think 'wtf?', and click the link.

Scams are relentless these days. I was looking for batteries on ebay, and there were loads claiming capacities that aren't physically possible.
