Go Pedal

Can anyone tell me how you stop the accelerator pedal flapping around. I'm running the plenum which means there is resistance from the OEM throttle body spring when pressing GO but nothing to stop the pedal swinging the other way. Is there supposed to be another spring?

Personally I would suggest some sort of mechanical stop to prevent movement the wrong way? An L shaped piece of metal mounted near to the hinge perhaps?

I don't want to be harsh but this is a Kitcar - if it doesn't work how it should or how you think it should then fix it/change it.

You are in control

Yup - fit an L shape piece of steel strip to the pivot point to act as a mechanical stop on the pedal travel.
