weber dcoe 40 problem

Hi all can any one help with this one, I have a pair of 40's on my car, was running fine and then had a starting issue where no fuel was coming through accelerator jets so wouldn't start, it had been laid up for a while, now have it running but it revs like mad with throttle closed any ideas?

If it revs with the throttle closed then you have an air leak. I would check the rubber misab gaskets, and also the manifold to head gasket. if it's been laid up up the rubber can perish.

Also check needle valve is working.
