Anyone work for Mazda? CX5 gearbox query.

Hi,

Recently traded my Jeep Pat for a Mazda CX5. It's a lovely car just the gearbox can feel a bit notchy at low speeds changing into second.

Does anyone know if there are any TSBs on this or have a similar experience?

Cheers,
Jon

Edit- should say it's a manual 2.2 diesel Skyactive UK model. Whatever box that is.

We had 4 of the bloody things in our fleet of company cars. After four years and 80K of going up and down the motorways they were very tired. Seats falling to bits on several, new wiring looms and a replacement engine on one under warranty. Our were the first ones off the production line as we got a decent deal. Never had and issue with the gearbox, only it seems hard to find a decent bite point. Either all or nothing.

Have a look at this tsb, although it is described as a selector rod it gives 7hours to fit so is likely a gearbox partial strip/rebuild.

Thanks for that - will mention the issue to them and see what they come up with...
