FS: NTDWM Single seaters, seem like good value

I know little about the single seater market, and this post may just prove so. I think one of these with a hard negotiation on a spares package, seems like a good deal?

Slap 3k worth of twin charged zetec in and it will be a rocket ship for 10k!!!!

Hi

Looks good, it would drop straight into Monoposto 1800
IF
The roll hoop meets current MSA requirements.

I'd be surprised if it didn't mind, but you'd want to know before parting with your cash..

Other bits like seatbelts, extinguisher you could deal with as they're bound to be expired etc.

at first seems very cheap but I bet these have had a very hard life and more than a few incidents, you'd have to super careful checking it out and spares are probably going to be expensive

Race School cars are normally well maintained and less likely to have had a 'biggy' than a car that's been raced.. spares for single seaters are normally cheaper than you'd think too - the only item I'd have concern over is the box as it looks to be a normal Hewland and the change process in a dog box means that if you're used to syncro (i.e. like the normal punter) then the dog's could be well worn, but even a rebuild on a box wouldn't put me off particularly at that price - I'd just want the confirmation that the roll hop has a ROPS certificate.

If it has then it'd make an excellent introductory single seater IMHO, if it hasn't then it's value is in the parts..

Quite a bit of value in the gearbox and dampers.

I guess if you get in there quick and strike a bargain for a car with a package of spares, then it would be a sensible enough investment for anyone wanting to give single-seater hillclimbing, etc a try.

Even if you try it, don't like it or outgrow it, and want to move it on, then I guess you ain't going to lose an awful lot of money at that price anyway.

Unless, of course, you are me...
