Sierra steering column

Hello fellow locostbuilders.

I have a shortend sierra steering rack wich has no powersteering.
Can i use a sierra steering column from a powersteering car? Is there any difference between non power and powersteering columns?
I can find a powersteering one locally.
To sum it up are all sierra steering columns the same exept the adjustable one and the fixed one?

Thank you

Not too sure about the upper column but I suspect it will be fine, there are however at least two if not three different lower columns , the first one I tried to use was too thick and caused clearance problems IIRC . Components to build your own lower column are available

Thank you for youre input rusty nuts

I got myself a full adjustable column from a 1991 sierra. It had powersteering.
For future reference the powersteering rack has a bigger splined end,i have a rack without powersteering and its splines seem to be like on the escort (the rubber flexi rings splined end was way too big for my rack) i think i will get the parts from rallydesign and go from there.
