Pinto transmission question

Hey Guys,
For my project i am looking for a other pinto engine.
I found a good engine but it has a automatique gearbox.
Kan use That engine in the type 9 that is in the car.
If i swap the clutch and flywheel?
Thanks

short answer is yes, you just need to put a spigot bearing in the back of the crank
other things like starter, carb, dizzy and cam may be different but thats no biggy.

As Conroe says . I have in the past changed engines ( not Pinto I must say) from auto to manual, sometimes there is a bush you have to remove in order to fit the spigot bush
