Smoke from Catch Can

I have a well tuned Zetec 2.0, I had it built over last winter and produced just over 200bhp.

I put a new catch can on along with the OE stock breather box thing which attaches to the block under the exhaust manifold. I have noticed that the catch can now smokes (White), it doesnt really smell of burning oil and hardly any oil goes into can.

Engine runs mint but just get this smoke.

Any suggestion's, anything to be worried about??

I believe white smoke to be water vapour in the oil, just steaming off,
if it was oil burning, it would be black heavy smoke

I would change the oil and filter,

steve

Thats was probably spelt wrong, or had some grammer, that the "grammer police have to have a moan at

I was told the same, nothing to be concerned about.

Just got it in my head its more serious. lol.

There did seem to be a bit of moisture in the catch can which kind of makes sense.

If you run a pipe from the breather exhaust port to the inlet tract before throttle body you won't see it!
