Mx5 front brake schematic

Hi everyone,

MX5 1.8 2002 standard 255 front disc brake

Does anyone have the details on a diagram/schematic where all the stainless steel clips go on the caliper brackets and there seems to be some with the new pads along with springs?

I refurbed everything a while ago and can't remember where it all went, and stupidly didn't think to take pictures.

Cheers

I was going to explain but googled MX5 caliper carrier and found this:

https://www.mx5city.com/mx5-brake-caliper-carrier-na-nb

Can't believe a carrier is so cheap. I'm hoping it's clearance but if not, why the hell have I wasted my time electrolysis...ing mine and repainting?!

The wire springs go between the pads (into holes in the edge of the pad backing)

That's great thank you. I did some googling but didn't find that one.

The pads came with clips attached, so that's nearly all sorted except I also have two more clips in the set which are different to all the others, one per caliper or pad I guess?

I've tried to attach images. Holding over the link and selecting open seems to work.

Also a pic of my refurbished caliper bracket. Surely that price is wrong ..... I too had the pain of shot blasting, cleaning and painting ......

Thanks again.
