Dynamic timing settings for Ford Pinto 2.0lt SOHC

Evening,

I have now got the engine running well (with a friend of mine by ear). We didn't have a strobe gun to hand and keen to check the set-up now we have one... Could anyone let me know what the dynamic timing settings should be (i.e. degrees before or after TDC)?

Thanks in advance.

Ashley

factory timing marks give a fair starting point, you already have that.
before you change things, mark what you have as something that works.
just optimise from what you have.
and remember fuel, (and even spark plugs...) have changed.
