T8 is the pin arrangement and the diameter, 2ft is the length. Can't get the tubes any more, but B&Q should have an LED retrofit that would
work.

I am assuming that the HF means High Frequency and I see that there are HF LED tubes available. It is possible that the high frequency control is not
compatible with non-HF tubes, so you'll have to buy HF tubes or bypass the HF controller.

You absolutely can get normal mercury discharge tubes still, legally. It's just incandescents you can't get as readily, though the stock is

My garage has 4 twin T8x5ft fixtures because I hate working in the dark!
