Hood material and how to fix windows

Anybody made a hood from scratch? Or side screens for that matter?

Interested to know what materials and methods worked well and those that didn't too.

How did you go about fitting the windows?

The hood and side-screen templates for my type of Dutton no longer exist!

A guy I met recently was using a channel which he had bonded to the top of the windscreen to fix the front of the hood to. The idea came from a caravan's awning. They came up with this method as they felt that using poppers was unsatisfactory as they often leaked. He had also made some excellent side screens. I'll try and find his e-mail address and e-mail it to you.
Regards, Neil

I made some sidescreens using polycarbonate with ali bottoms, few pics on photo archive. For long distance drives they are the way to go.
