Another AVON on the road!

Hi Guys,

Just a short note to say my AVON passed SVA today after failing last Friday on emissions only. Half an hour with the DTA mapping software and the use of a gas analiser at my local garage and hey presto. A five minute re-test and the MAC certificate in my hands!!! Off to Brighton DVLA tomorrow to get it registered.

Cheers!

Well done. A very tidy looking motor. Like the black wheel arches.

Very smart.
I still think the Avon is a good looking car. The boot cover looks good is that Tiger's? I want to fit one but would have to modify it for the rear stays. I'm going to have to revamp the roll bar anyway when I have some spare cash as the Tiger bar is too low and poorly made. I've had a quote of £130 for one made in seamless tube with back stays.

Also what headlamps are they?

Andrew,
You're more than welcome to come up to Newlands Corner (just South of Guildford) for out monthly meet of unhealthy food and chatting about (mostly) cars.
Would be good to see your car in person.

Cheers,
James

Well done, car looks nice.

Is the main tub painted blue or is that Gel coat? - I only ask because i will be oredering the bodywork soon and I am thinking about getting it in Blue. (Unless Darren from GTS gets his finger out and offers Avon bodywork soon!)
