Racing management game

Does anyone know of a good game along the lines of Championship Manager but for F1/motor racing in general? Where you have to do all the pit stop strategies etc rather than the driving? I've tried google but can only find fantasy F1...

Cheers,

Pete

Yeah I've had a go at the GT4 mode but it's pretty basic - I want something much more in-depth, where I can mess abut with all the car settings, all the really nerdy stuff

I might have a look for F1 manager, could be interesting even though it's old.

Cheers,

Pete

I think they did a couple of versions of F1 manager, there was one where the cars just went over each other so was a bit unrealistic as there was no over taking. You could still do all the settings decide how much fuel, what strategies and how hard you want them to push.

I think the other, later version was better and more realsitic.

Once was made by microprose and the other was EAs F1 Manager, it think the latter one was the better.

yep
EA F1 Manager is by far the better of the two and you can pick it up for £4.99 these days.
Just dont hit your computer, as it can be DAMB frustrating when you spend hours planning, testing investing in new parts etc, just for the dumb git behind the wheel to chuck it off the track on the second lap.
