4wd Cossy running gear
Can anyone tell me if sierra cosworth 4wd running gear is the same as xr4x4 running gear ?
Anyone know of a good 4x4 drivetrain which will accept a ford engine ?
Anyone got any good links/info on anti-lag systems ?
Doing some research for my next project.
Cheers,
Mike

generally they are the same with the exception that the V6 xr4x4 has a longer input shaft on the gearbox

The exact differences will of been gone over many times at passionford.com or interford.co.uk.
Off the top of my head the front propshaft is'nt as beefy and there are differences in front driveshafts, xr4x4 or cossie are longer so help if
you lower the car (on the sierra anyway)
Sure theres other bits and pieces but they escape me right now.

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

Thanks guys. So i'm correct in assuming that they use the same chassis pick up points, trailing arms, hub carriers, etc. - even though one is
sierra and the other is sapphire based ?
Can anyone point me to a webpage showing a view of drivetrain ? exploded diagrams, configuration etc.
