Bargains elsewhere...

Due to the rising costs of advertising I will no longer be able to make dicounted goods available through this site.

The goods I sold through this site barely cost more than trade prices and any profit I made rarely covered my expenses. I actually lost money on a few deals, but I was willing to absorb this cost to continue providing high quality goods at discount prices. I prided myself on offering a unique, personal service and always went the extra mile on more than one occasion.

As you know, my company does not make Locost or 7-type cars, so the opportunities for me to make money from spares for these cars are limited.

In addition, anyone seeking advice on any aspect of designing or engineering their cars will now need to be charged at my professional hourly rate. I would suggest other professional engineers take the same approach. Any styling sketches or unique diagrams are subject to copyright and will be removed.

I'm genuinely unhappy at having to do this as I viewed Locostbuilders as an 'exchange of services' rather than a profit making exercise, but there you go.

I appreciate that it costs money to run the site, but surely that's what site sponsorship is all about....?

Just my $0.02 worth...

Best Regards,

Steve.

That is a real shame Steve, although I totally understand your reason.
I have had no end of good advice from you and was planning on getting you to sort my BEC converted Diff cover in the near future. I hope I will still be able to afford you

You'll still be running the ebay shop though won't you ?. Put a link to it so I can stick it in my favourites somebody. Got it thanks, added to shops.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

EBay shop will be open for business for the foreseeable future. I'm also working on a shop for our own web-site, with proper ordering and payment facilities.
