Oil Baffle plate for fireblade engine

I am fitting a modified sump to my MK fireblade and wondered when it is off would it be the time to fit a baffle. Anyone done this and would explain the way to go about it or a drawing would be great, perhaps it is not necessary, your thoughts gentlemen. David

I have gone the "it's not necessary" route, and I hope it's not
