R1 exhaust gasket thingy!!
Can anyone shed any light on a small round washer/gasket type thingy jobby that fits and works as a gasket to the exhaust manifold. not very
descriptive but anyone got one or know where i can get one! cheers

Err, Yamaha dealer p'raps? 
They are very cheap IIRC, maybe £5 for a set of 4

Marc from MNR spent some time in a parts shop and found some the same size for a lot less than Yamaha branded parts. Perhaps he might let you in on
his secret.

They are a throw away item, you need to use a new set every time you bolt the manifold back on!

And cheapones are exactly that. Use Yamaha every time!

I'd 2nd that! Had an RD350 years ago which always blew from the manifold after I replaced the rings quite a few times. The vibrations just
seemed to make the pattern parts fail after a short time. Replaced with Yamaha parts and was fine after that.

if it's only one you need and don't want to buy 4 let me know and I'll post a used one to you. A previously said though..better to
use a new set of them as they're not dear.
