Type 9 C Clip

Hi.
I've been asked by a friend "where can I get a C clip for a type 9 to hold the speedo cable in".

He's tried Ford and they don't sell them any more.

Are they anything special or would any C clip the correct size do?

local ''bolt and tool" should do them for peanuts. Just measure the slot and they should be able to get you on the correct size.

(I call them circlips)

I couldn't find a circlip the right size and ended up using a too large one by cutting one end off it. It's been in years and never moved.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
