Sod's law and rain..

Get up, sunny, breakfast, sunny. I'll do my errand in the little car, giver her a run, flat battery, jump start, running great, get part i need, get back to car...BLACK CLOUDS. 30 sec later HAIL, I out run the rain, traffic lights, it catches up PLUS THUNDER, try to look nonchelant with my carsh helemt and non-waterproof fleece on

Get home (less than 5 mins), guess what its sunny now!!
Of course I get the blame for wife having to fetch washing in from line!

Does anyone else have trips like that OR IS IT JUST ME! /paranoia off/

Not quite the same thing but I'd planned to go for a nice drive this afternoon if it was dry. So this morning it was wet but started to dry nicely. Went to get the car keys, then remembered they're in my wifes handbag because she was going to get me a spare set cut - she's 100 miles away today!

Thanking my lucky stars that it's lashing down with rain now and I'd have got soaked if the keys were in the house

It's okay, the seat is bolted to the floor not on runners, there's no way she could reach the pedals

i oten had this problem when i used to ride motorbikes, tis a damn nousence, especially when you do remember to put on your waterproof trousers on and the rain just runs down them and into your boots as they arent quite long enough

Been out today too, wet then dry, wet then dry, wet then dry. Lost count of the little showers we encountered. Just keep on moving and it's ok. Quick blast from a junction to junction on motorway and cars totaly dry too..

Rain don't let that put you off, and when your seven year old daughter want's to go out in it then dad just does what he is told.

It's happening down south too,

Know what you mean about trying to look unconcerned at 70ish on the A34 during a hailstorm only to find it dry at home

It's wet out there today

Been out again today with my ever relentless can we go out in the kit car dad please dad, daughter. We have just washed and dried the car and it's all clean.
We though are wet through but still having a great time about it.
That's what it's all about isn't it.

As you can see it is up on one ramp too, to let the water out.

Will put some holes in it later. Rescued attachment !CID__RYcZ3PcbnG_.jpg

Excellent idea welderman!!!! After my attempt at the watersplash last week I was wondering how to get the water out.

About half a second after that photo was taken, all the water that was in the air landed on me!
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<-----------------------

Now I know.

Thanks

Mike

Bloomin ech Mike is that a car wash on there. Once your wet though, you just laugh it off and along you go. Got some intercoms now for us and listening to my daughter laughing it's very hard to concentrate.

It was a wet on Monday!!! That was the exit from the bus stop right opposite the paddock / spectators.

but at least I didn't get as wet as this lad!!!!
