Rally Design GTS parts

I just rang up Rally Design to order a set of shocks and the guy on the phone tells me they are no longer stocking them. Seems a little odd if they are selling the rest of the GTS kit?

I guess I will have to order from Darren unless anyone else knows where to get 11.5" open length shocks from?

You can order any length shocks from any of the shock manufacturers direct.

Give Protech a ring if Darren cant help

I got my set through Darren a few months back. I paid the money and got them from Darren about 3 months later when he had enough orders to buy in bulk. I would recommend buying direct from Protech if you need them anytime soon.

Thanks chaps, will sort something out with Protech then, though a quick search of the forums seemed to bring up quite a few people with at least one leaky shock? I was rather hoping Rally Design had them in stock as I have had nothing but excellent service from them.

I was very dissapointed to find the ex-Westy shocks I have wouldn't fit the rear of my car with the GTS De-dion on it. Scratched my head for an hour or so and couldn't find a "nice" way of getting them in (they measure just under 13" fully open).

Rally Design GTS parts / Suspension

Sorry there appears to be a misunderstanding here.

We are no longer stocking the Gabriel shock and spring kits for the Locost as they have proven to be hard to stock.

However, we have taken the decision to stock the GAZ kits which are far superior and feature a side rate adjuster, all for just another £23.50 inc vat. The other important thing here is that we do have them in stock now.

We hope this helps.

Thanks for the clarification. The Gaz shocks were mentioned to me by the sales staff I spoke to, but when I enquired about the lengths they appeared to be incorrect for the GTS chassis. Specificaly I was told the rear shocks were around 13" long fully open (can't remember exact number quoted) rather than the 11.5" required.

Could you confirm that the open lengths are 12" front and 11.5" rear?
