Don't you just hate it when....

You constantly move certain items around the garage because they are always in the way and when it comes to fitting said items you can't find the buggers

Please add yours.....

It's tea mugs with me, look all over for them. Then I will find about six
just there on the bench. No there.
Where the hell have they gone now???

With me it's usually that little item that I put away "safely" somewhere... so safe that I can't remember where!

I'm not going to even start on this one!!!

Well, MikeR will know what my garage is like! He was enquiring about trailing arms and bushes, and it was only then I realised I had some unused ones somewhere!

Tape measures manage to be everywhere except where I am when I need one.

Try not to store things safely in the donors boot! I'm pretty sure now that the 13mm socket I'm always looking for is on the scrap heap in the sierra

You get a migrane when you are meant to be helping teach a CAD practical seminar tomorrow!!

On a more relevant note; I am always putting something down, then forgetting where i put it 2 mins before. I then spend half an hour looking for the bit.

I keep everything in a drawer or shelve or whatever. a place for everything etc.
However. When using something I always put it down and can never find the bloody thing.
Quickest way to find it again is to go to the drawer and get another one. By the time your back its right there whare you know you left it. Must be the bloody midges.
